Children’s Dentistry (Paediatric Dentistry)
When to first take a child to the dentist is a fairly common question amongst parents.
Early orthodontic indicators can often be identified between six and nine years of age and six monthly check ups are ideal from teenager upwards. The sooner the importance of a dental health routine is stressed upon, the better it is for your child’s teeth.
Further our experienced staff are well equipt to handle children using distraction techniques and you can be confident that your child will be receive the best dental care as their well being is our first priority.
If need be we also offer sedation and general anaesthesia. Lastly while the age bracket that we deal with is 13-18 year olds we’re happy to see under 13 year olds in case of an emergency or of parental concern.
